Additionally Best Practice strategies can be developed for various Patient Populations and Clinical Procedures.  A Profile is the name given to a specific configuration of a best practice and a profile can be assigned to an individual patient when it is deemed necessary using the Command Center (central viewing system) or at the bedside when a Quantum Workstation is being used.

Furthermore, clinicians with system privileges can make changes to a deployed best practice in real-time e.g. changes to specific alert settings to further enhance individual care strategies or reduce alarm fatigue. 

Best Practice Violations & Ongoing Compliance

Near real-time compliance reporting systems combined with various Best Practice and Evidenced Based Protocol Apps provide a flexible approach to the consistent delivery of quality and safe patient care.
